Shade :)

Building continues at Lindelani! This week the babies
play area was covered with shade cloth, so that they can spend more time outside! Thanks you to the guys who put it up for us!!! :)

Philani concert

Today we had our end of year concert and prize giving at Philani creche. The children entertained us with dancing and singing. We will miss them over the holiday period!

New creche

On Monday we had our first day of school in the new building! Philani creche and baby care are now right next to eachother, and forms a community centre for the Lindelani community :) This week the children are practicing for their end of year concert that they will do on Friday!

Relocation

This week Philani Creche playground was relocated across to Lindelani, where the new classrooms are being built. We replanted trees, which will provide some much needed shade when summer eventually arrives! The jungle gym which provides a platform for much laughter and entertainment has also been moved across.

Nomvelo

This is Nomvelo, she is one of the children that attends
Philani creche.
I took this picture of her yesterday while she was exploring our new classroom. The walls have been palstered and now a few layers of whitewash need to be painted and the room will be finished and ready for use.

Building!

Building continues at Lindelani, at the end of next week we will be moving the creche across. The children have been joining in and helping with the final finishing touches of the building. :)

Spring rain

Last night Greytown experienced the first thunderstorm for the season. As scary as the storm is when it happens, the peace and beauty that we experienced this morning made all worth experiencing the thunder and lightening last night! This morning the children were playing in the puddles and enjoying what God has poured down.
